Glucose Revolution

A very interesting and easy read about how food affects our blood sugar levels and how glucose spikes ruin our health. According to the book we need to reduce the number of glucose spikes as well reduce their size. The best thing: we can do this without changing our diet, by simply changing the order in which we eat foods.

The order should be:

  1. Fibres
  2. Proteins
  3. Carbs

Or in terms of actual food

  1. Veg
  2. Meat
  3. Bread, pasta, rice, etc

I've tried this for three days and it seems to be helping. I will see later if this works long term. The proof will be in the pudding, which should always be eaten as a dessert and not separately from the main meal.
