This is the book on which the film Blade Runner is based. I have always struggled to stay awake watching the film, as despite being interesting, it is very slow paced. The book on the other hand I finished in a couple of days. It's not gripping, but definitely interesting and raising some interesting questions about what is and isn't real. With the progress of AI in recent years, this is again a very current question. Well worth reading. And maybe I should watch the film again...
