Safer Internet Forum

Today I attended the Safer Internet Forum in Brussels. It is a yearly event organised by Better Internet For Kids (BIK) and funded by the European Commission in support of their Better Internet For Kids strategy.

It was an enjoyable day of panel discussions, world cafes, presentations and even live music. Industry representatives from the likes of Meta, Google, Microsoft, TikTok and Discord were also present. The event is run by teenagers and young adults who are youth ambassadors for BIK and safer internet in general.

The event was addressed by Commissioners Breton and Šuica with sincere and clear messages in support of a better internet for kids.
